In 2017, Mastercard introduced new card number ranges that begin with 2s. Your Turbify Store has always been compatible with these new 2-series cards; however, Mastercard ran many of these tests before compliance was required, and are just now sending out the notices.
If you receive such a notice from Mastercard, please reach out to them at mc_2bin_compliance@mastercard.com. Your email should look something like this:
Subject:
2-series BIN compliance for [insert your store domain here]
Body:
I recently received an email from Mastercard stating that my store, [insert your store domain here], is not compliant with the new 2-series BINs.
This store is hosted on the Turbify ecommerce platform. I understand that there have been many stores on this platform incorrectly flagged as non-compliant, and that those stores have been able resolve this issue with you.
I can confirm that our store is configured to accept 2-series BINs. Please consider [insert your store domain here] compliant, as you have dozens of others on the Turbify platform.
Please let me know if I can do anything to help resolve this issue swiftly.
Mastercard should respond fairly quickly to state that they consider your store compliant.
If you also receive an email from your merchant account provider (MAP) about your perceived non-compliance, just reply with the confirmation of compliance that Mastercard sends in response to the email above.
