Website Builder is SEO friendly and it will give you access to tools which can help optimize your site for SEO. Some SEO elements will affect your entire site while some only affect individual pages and will need to be updated on each page.
Manage SEO
- From your Manage Site page, click Edit site or Site Design.

- On the SEO/Analytics Setup page:
- In the pull-down menu, ensure that your site is set to be Visible to all search engines. This element affects all of your site pages.
- In the Title field, enter the title of your site page. This is what will appear on the top of your web browser and browser tabs. This element affects individual pages and will need to be updated on each site page.
Note: If you do not enter a title for your page, your site name will appear instead. - In the Keywords field, enter keywords for your site page. This element affects individual pages and will need to be updated on each site page.
Note: Limit your keywords to 10 and ensure that you use words which also appear on your site pages. - In the Description field, enter a description for your site page. This is what will describe your site on search engines. This element affects individual pages and will need to be updated on each site page.
- Upload a favicon for your site. Learn more. This element affects all of your site pages.
- Upload a Social image by clicking Social image preview. This the image which appears when someone links to your site in social media. This element affects all of your site pages.
- Add your Google Analytics ID if you wish to use Google Analytics. Learn more. This element affects all of your site pages.
- Click the Set button to save your changes.
- Add your Facebook Pixel ID. Learn more about Facebook Pixel.
- Click the Set button when ready.

Notes: It's recommended to have your brand or domain name appear in the Title and Keywords fields. It's better to use keywords that are specific to your own site and to avoid words that are common or which may be associated with competitors.
It's also recommended to have as many links leading to your website as possible, including from your social media pages, blogs, and other sites.
