The Checkout & Registration Manager includes the ability to set a maximum order value above which buyers will not be able to complete checkout. This feature can be useful for sites that experience frequent fraudulent orders for high-cost goods. Merchants can elect to use this feature, set the dollar amount to represent the maximum, and also control the error message shown to buyers who try to check out above the maximum order value.
Enter an amount to represent the maximum order value allowed to complete checkout. For example, if you enter $10,000, only orders of $9,999 and under (excluding coupons, tax, shipping and gift wrap charges) will be able to complete checkout.
