In order to receive an alert if an order confirmation or status update email does not reach the email address provided by your customer, enter an email address in the Bounced Message Email field under Shipment & Order Status.
If you wish to use the same email address as the one in the Email Address field leave the Bounced Message Email field blank.
Note:
- Although it is a common practice to send notification of undeliverable mail, not all email providers send a notification or bounce when an email is undeliverable.
- Some email providers do not send the bounce message for several hours.
- Some email providers will not return the bounced message because the send address is not the same as the reply or bounce message address.
Any changes made to the Bounced Message Email field will be available after you publish your order settings in the Store Manager.
