Note: The following page outlines variables that are only found in the 2.0 version of the Store Editor. If you do not see the fields or this section of variables, you are using the 3.0 version of Store Editor and can focus on
variables specific to Store Editor 3.0.
The Store Editor 2.0 allows you to change the text of all Contents buttons (Sections, Items) and certain standard buttons.
To change the button text for Contents (Section buttons):
- From the Store Editor, navigate to the page for which you wish to change the button text.
- Click the Edit button in the Editor toolbar.
- Edit the Name field (see A figure 1).
- Click the Update button in the Editor toolbar.
- When finished, click Publish Changes in the Editor toolbar to push the changes to your store.
- Repeat these steps for any other Contents pages where you wish to change the button text.
- When ready, click Publish in the Editor toolbar to push your changes to your live site.

You can also change the text on select standard buttons by editing the button-text fields on the Variables page. The following buttons allow text edits:
- Info
- Privacy Policy
- Request Catalog
To change the text of standard buttons using a variable
- From the Store Editor, click Variables in the Editor toolbar on any page.
- Scroll to the Button Properties section.
- Enter a new value for the button(s) for which you wish to edit the text in one or more of the following fields:
- Info-text
- Privacypolicy-text
- Request-text
- Click Update when finished to return to the Edit view of the page.
- When ready, click Publish Changes in the Editor toolbar to push your changes to your live site.
These changes are made to all navigation bars throughout your store with the possible exception of the Home page and any pages with variable overrides to the Nav-buttons field.
