What is the GST?

The Goods and Services Tax (GST) unifies several separate indirect taxes collected by both the state and central governments in India.
 

When did the GST go into effect?

The GST went into effect on July 1, 2017. Turbify India will begin collecting GST on this date.
 

Are my Turbify services affected by the GST?

Turbify India began collecting GST on July 1, 2017. If you have a domain, business email, or website with Turbify India, you may be affected.
 

What do I need to do?

Just enter your business information on your profile page.
 

Do I need a GST ID number?

Only if you are a business and you plan to claim the GST paid on your Turbify India services when you file your taxes.
 

What happens if I don't enter my GST ID number?

Yahoo will continue to collect the GST for the state and central governments. However, without a GST ID number attached to your profile, you will be ineligible to claim the taxes collected on your Turbify India services.

Can I add or update my GST ID number on an invoice I already paid?

Unfortunately not. While you can update your GST ID number on your profile page, there is no way to update invoices that were paid with an incorrect or missing GST ID number.
