In WordPress, you can upload audio files to your Posts and Pages. The files can be single files or grouped together in Audio Playlists.
WordPress supports these audio file types:

Add audio files
- Sign in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to the Page or Post where you wish to add the audio file.
- Click the Add block icon.

- Search and select Audio.

- In the Audio dialog, choose to drag and drop a file, manually Upload the file, go to your Media Library to retrieve the file, or Insert the file's URL. Note: There is a 2 MB file size limit. Learn how to upload files to your Media Library.

- On the Media Library tab, select the media file.

- Click the Select button.

- WordPress will add a media player to your Post or Page. You can play the file while still editing the Post or Page.

- Click the Save draft link to save your changes, click the Preview link to preview your changes, and Publish when ready.

Delete audio files
- Sign in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to the Page or Post where you wish to delete the audio file.
- Click on the media player.

- Click the Options icon.

- Select Remove Audio. The audio file will immediately be deleted.

- Click the Save draft link to save your changes, click the Preview link to preview your changes, and Publish when ready.
