PayPal Seller Protection covers merchants against chargebacks for items that aren't received, and for unauthorized payments and payment reversals for items paid for using PayPal. To qualify for Seller Protection, you must meet PayPal's Seller Protection Policy conditions. A list of these conditions can be found on PayPal's Seller Protection Overview page, as well as in the Protection for Sellers section of the PayPal User Agreement.
Orders paid for using PayPal will have their Seller Protection eligibility indicated beside the Seller Protection field in Order Manager. Here, you will see one of the following eligibility statuses:
Eligible - Seller is protected by PayPal's Seller Protection Policy for Unauthorized Payments and Item Not Received.
Partially Eligible - Seller is protected by PayPal's Seller Protection Policy for Item Not Received.
Ineligible - Seller is not protected under the Seller Protection Policy.
