Did you accidentally delete a message yesterday and need it back? Emails disappeared from your inbox and they're not in the trash? You may be able to recover them online if it's been less than 7 days since they went missing. The most common reasons you might be missing mail are that someone with the login deleted it or your POP/IMAP client was set to delete the mail from the server once downloaded (see more information on POP deletions
here)
To attempt mail recovery using our automated form:
- Sign into your business email address needing recovery from a desktop or laptop computer. You can login at mail.yourdomainname (e.g. mail.widgetdesigns.com) or mail.turbify.com.
- Once logged in, visit this Yahoo help page to view the details of how recovery works and fill out the form.
- Once the form is filled out, you will receive an automated confirmation email shortly letting you know the request has been received. Recovery will be attempted automatically within the next day.
- After that time, please check your mailbox. You will be able to see any lost mail we were able to recover. Be sure to check everywhere, including the Trash, Spam and Archive folders. If you do not see your lost mail anywhere, it means it was unrecoverable.
If mail continues to disappear after recovery, we advise revoking the app passwords for all POP/IMAP clients in use. (
