With Knowledge Assistant, you can send messages to your Localworks account via SMS or Facebook Messenger to add photos, update holiday hours, and see/respond to reviews.

Set up Knowledge Assistant
- Sign in to your My Services page.
- Click the Dashboard link.
- Mouse over your name on the top right then select Account Settings.
- Go to Knowledge Assistance Settings.
- Click to add your mobile number the click the Verify Phone Number button. You will receive 6-digit verification code. Important: Make sure you add the phone number from which the code was sent to your Contacts list. This will be the number to contact via SMS for the updates.
- Enter the code then click the Submit Code button.
- Click the Link Facebook Account link.
- Click Send to Messenger if you're signed in with your Facebook account. Note: If there's another account already signed in, click the Not You? link, then Send to Messenger. You will be prompted to sign in with your Facebook credentials.
- Under Platform Preference, select your preferred method to contact Knowledge Assistant: Unspecified, SMS, or Facebook Messenger, then click the Save button.
- Under Allowed Interactions, click the Edit icon on the right, select the Allow radio button next to Reviews and Holiday hours, then click the Save button.
Once connected, you can contact the Knowledge Assistant via SMS and/or Facebook Messenger
Start a conversation with Knowledge Assistant via SMS
- Send a text message to the number from which the verification code was sent. The Knowledge Manager will ask you what you would like to do.
- Indicate what action you would like to take: add photos, update holiday hours, or see/respond to reviews.
- Follow when prompted by Knowledge Assistant to complete the desired action.
Start a conversation with Knowledge Assistant via Facebook Messenger
- Open Facebook Messenger and start a new chat.
- Enter Knowledge Assistant in the To: field.
- Select Knowledge Assistant from the options that appear, then enter a new message to begin the conversation (such as Hello.).
- Indicate what action you would like to take: add photos, update holiday hours, or see/respond to reviews.
- Follow when prompted by Knowledge Assistant to complete the desired action.
