Important: Before changing any IDs, be sure to make a note of all of the old IDs that will be changed. Immediately after the IDs have been changed, we recommend setting 301 redirects from the old IDs to the new IDs. Learn more about 301 redirects.
With Store Editor's Change Item ID Tool, you can change item page IDs using a CSV file. There doesn't have to be any specific name for your CSV file.
The CSV should only have 2 columns and a header row in this order: oldid and newid. Add the current page IDs and new page IDs in their respective columns. When providing the new page IDs, remember IDs can only contain lowercase letters, numbers, and dashes.

Note: If any changed IDs appear in a page's Contents field, the new ID will be moved to the end of that page's Contents field. It's recommended to check these pages and rearrange the IDs if needed.
