Search Tracker for Localworks
Learn how to determine how likely a customer is to choose your business in search.

Search Tracker is a feature of Localworks Premium that runs a series of searches about your business based on keywords that you indicate, measuring how frequently your business appears in search results. The compiled results allow you to better understand how and when your business is appearing in search results.
On the left under Settings, select Search Tracker.
In the Search Tracker module, mouse over each section and click the Edit icon:
Search Tracker Enabled - Select Yes from the pull-down menu to enable Search Tracker. Click Save.
Search Tracker Frequency - Select how often you would like Search Tracker to perform searches: Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly. Note: Weekly or Monthly is recommended. Click Save.
Location Keywords - Select the checkboxes next to Name and Primary Category to include the business name and category in searches. Click Save.
Custom Keywords - Add up to five additional keywords to include in searches. Enter one keyword per text field. Click Save.
Query Templates - Select up to four query templates that you would like applied in searches. You must select at least three templates. Click Save.
Alternate Names (Optional) - Add up to three alternate website domains that you use for your business. Click Save.
Alternate Websites (Optional) - Add up to three alternate names that are used for your business, or any common misspellings. Click Save.
Tracking Sites - Select the search engines where you would like to track your performance on. Click Save.
To check your first week or month of data, click the Analytics tab then select Search Tracker. Note: If your data isn't quite ready, you'll see a Tracking in Progress message.
