Set up your legal documents for LLC
- Sign in to Business Maker.
- On the left menu, select Legal.

- If you selected Legal in the left menu, click the Set up legal button. Otherwise, go to step 4.

- On the next page, select LLC.

- On the Let's check if your name is available page:
- In the Business name field, enter the name of your business.
- In the State of filing field, enter the state in which you are filing your business. Here is where you'll be notified what the state filing fee will be. The amount of the fee will depend on the state in which you are filing.
Note: Click the More info link to view additional information about choosing a state. - Click the Check availability button

Note: You'll see a message if your business name is already being used in your state. In this case, you'll need to select an alternative business name. - If your business name is available, click the Get my LLC button.

- On the Tell us a little more about page:
- In the Business category field, select a category for your business.
- Select if yours is a a Member managed or Manager managed.
- List all of the members of your business.
- Below that, enter your Social Security Number. Note: This is a State requirement to file for your EIN.
- Click the Continue button.

- On the What's your business contact information? page, enter the following information then click the Continue button.
- Tax contact
- Tax Address
- Apartment, suite, unit, building, floor, etc.
- City
- State
- Zip code
- Select if your Business address is the same as your Tax address. Note: If not, uncheck the box and enter your Business address.
- Select if your Mailing address is the same as your Tax address. Note: If not, uncheck the box and enter your Mailing address.
- Phone number
- Select an address
- Enter the % Ownership of Member
- Enter the Capital Contribution for Member
- Enter any additional Member information (Select an address, the Capital Contribution for Member, the Capital Contribution for Member)
- Click the Continue button.

- On the Review your information page, confirm that all of your information is correct and that you authorize Turbify to charge your payment method for the amount of the state filing fee. If you need to make any changes, click the Edit icon next to each section that you wish to update.
Important: Once you submit your information, you will not be able to make any changes to it. Please note that Turbify is not permitted to make any changes on your behalf.

- When you have confirmed that all of your information is correct, click the Submit button.

That's it! On the confirmation page, you'll see a message that you will receive your legal documents in a few days:
- Limited Liability Corporation certificate (LLC)
- Employer Identification Number (EIN)
- Business License Report
- Legal Inc. automated registered agent
You can always check your filing status on your Legal dashboard.

Once the documents are ready, they can be downloaded directly from your dashboard.

You will be provided with a Legalinc Registered Agent contact near your business address. This information can be edited.
