The Advanced Category Management tool allows you to adjust the categories you’re listed under for a specific publisher. The Localworks system automatically matches to the most appropriate category on each publisher site, and because each publisher has its own set of categories, the categories can differ from site to site. The Advanced Category Management tool allows you to see exactly how the entity is categorized on each site and make changes accordingly.
Use the Advanced Category Management tool
- Sign in to your Localworks dashboard.
- Click Knowledge Graph in the top navigation bar.
- Click Edit next to the desired entity.
- Click on the Categories field.
- Click on the Advanced link. A dialog box appears.
- Click on the desired publisher site in the left sidebar. Note: The number next to each publisher name denotes how many categories the entity is currently listed under.
- Select the checkbox next to Override categories for [Publisher Name] and take one of the following actions:
- Add a category:
- Click + Add a category.
- Enter the first few letters of the category in the text box and select from the list that appears.
- Click Apply.
- Delete a category:
- Click the trash can icon next to the category you would like to remove.
- Click on the Save button. A dialog box appears.
- Read the Warning message before proceeding.
- Click on the I’d like to change my categories link to save your changes and update your categories.
