Create a backup using WordPress Toolkit
Learn how to backup and restore a single website using WordPress Toolkit.

You can create and restore a backup for a single website installation using the WordPress Toolkit backup feature. This is a great way to quickly create a backup of your website. You can also download the backup file or keep it archived in the File Manager backups folder. Finally, if you need to restore the backup, simply use the restore feature to bring back content and data from that backup.
Note: To create a backup of all of your WordPress websites in your account, review this Help Article.
Click the WordPress Management link on the left toolbar. Note: WordPress Management is not available for the WordPress Essentials Hosting plan.
In the Dashboard section for the selected website, click the Back Up / Restore link.
In the Backup and Restore modal, click the Back Up button.
You will see a backup in progress and then a backup completed message. Click the Close button. Note: Depending on your website size, the backup process may take time to complete.
When the backup is completed, you will see it listed by creation date with the latest backup listed first. The file size, name and additional tools are also listed with each backup.
Backup files are archived in the File Manager. To view the file, click the wordpress-backups link.

In the Dashboard section for the selected website, click the Back Up / Restore link.
In the Backup and Restore modal, select the backup file to restore and click the Restore icon.
Click the Restore confirmation button.
You will see a restore in progress and then a restore completed message. Click the Close button. Note: Depending on your website size, the restore process may take time to complete.

In the Dashboard section for the selected website, click the Back Up / Restore link.
In the Backup and Restore modal, checkmark the backup to delete. Then click the Delete button. Note: You can also delete by clicking the Delete icon in the row for the selected backup.
