You can set up a payment method in WooCommerce that fits your business requirements, such as Stripe, Square, PayPal, direct bank transfer, check payments, cash on delivery, and many more. WooCommerce has a built-in payment method WooPayments which is powered by Stripe Express. We'll walk you through the steps to complete WooPayments from the WordPress menu.
Important: If you select to use WooPayments, you will receive an email to confirm your email address and verify your Stripe account. Payment setup errors may occur if the Stripe account is not confirmed within a set timeframe. You will also receive an email from WooCommerce Payments and WordPress.com to confirm your email address and activate your account. Your account will then be placed under review by WooPayments and should be completed within 7 days.

- If you want to test your shopping cart purchases offline, enable and use the check payments method in WooCommerce > Settings > All payment methods > check payments.
- If you want to test your shopping cart purchases with a test credit card and a payment processor, such as WooPayments, enable WooPayments, and then enable Test mode in the WooPayments General section. Learn more. For other payment processors, follow the guidelines set by the provider.
