WooCommerce offers four options to set up tax rates for your store, you can use WooCommerce Tax, Avalara, create taxes manually, or select to not collect sales tax. WooCommerce Tax is well integrated into the platform, and like WooPayments, it's connected via Jetpack and WordPress.com. Once WooCommerce Tax is installed and enabled, you can manage the tax options from the Settings menu.
Note: If you are configuring your store's sales tax for the first time, you'll start from the checklist setup. You will need Jetpack enabled and a WordPress.com account.
Important: Turbify is unable to provide tax advice to store owners for determining your tax requirements based on your location(s) and products. Due to the financial and legal implications surrounding tax requirements, Turbify strongly recommends store owners consult a small business tax advisor to determine the exact tax rates applicable to your store.
