What change plan options are there?

The possible plan changes are:

• Website Design Service Standard to Website Design Service Premium
• Website Design Service Standard to Web Hosting Advanced (all terms)
• Website Design Service Premium to Web Hosting Premier (all terms)

Important: Website Design Service Premium plans can't be changed to Website Design Service Standard plans at this time.

Billing

• You'll receive a one-time fee when changing from Website Design Service Standard to Website Design Service Premium.
• You can only change your plan after the first renewal. The plan must bill for the renewal before the change plan option shows up.
• You can reactivate your plan if it's still in a CancelPending state. Learn how.
  Note: Remember to remove admin access for the design team if you cancel your plan. Learn how.

Web Hosting add-on for Website Design

Which plans can add the add-on?

Web Hosting Basic, Advanced, and Premier plans can add the add-on. Note: Once added, Web Hosting Basic customers will see options for MySQL, PHP, phpMyAdmin, and FTPS login info in the Web Hosting Control Panel. If a Web Hosting Basic customer cancels the add-on, the FTP info will be removed but the other options will stay.

Billing and ordering

Billing renewals will happen every 6 months for the add-on*, which means you may see multiple charges per year (i.e. 2 per year for Website Design and one for Web Hosting if annual).

*Please note that your original “Grow and Manage” charge is prorated to better align with the renewal of your core plan. This means you may be billed a smaller amount for this initially, and then billed for the renewal amount sooner than 6 months. Be sure to review your "Add On Summary" page when ordering to see the time period for your initial charge and the next scheduled renewal. 

Once ordered, you will see a Consult and Set Up link on your My Services page right above the Web Hosting Control Panel link. You will also get the Getting Started email with instructions on setting up their consultation. The Access Manager role will automatically be created and provisioned for 6 months. Learn more.

You can cancel your Website Design service by clicking the Billing Information link on your My Services page. Learn how. Do not click the Cancel Plan from within the Billing Information page unless you intend to cancel your entire subscription, including domain, hosting, and business mail services.     

Limitations

• The add-on can't be added to Merchant Solutions, WebsiteBuilder, or WordPress hosting plans.
• A Web Hosting plan must be an annual or multi-year subscription.
• As with all add-ons, they're dependent on the core plan remaining active.
• You can't change the core plan through the Change Plan process unless/until the add-on is removed.
